OLIVIA RAINALDI

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Olivia Rainaldi was born in Rome in 2003, where she currently works and lives. In 2025, she graduated in Literature and Philosophy at Sapienza University of Rome, where she wrote a thesis on early 20th-century German Expressionism.

In 2025, the first twelve photographs from her project Sistema Arte Roma were exhibited at the White Gallery - Temporary Art Space (Rome), a group exhibition curated by Valentina Ciarallo.

In 2026, another 13 photographs from the same project were showcased at the San Lorenzo Studio (Soho House, Rome) in a solo exhibition curated by Elena Paniconi.

At the visual heart of Olivia Rainaldi’s photography is a distinctive approach to portraiture—one defined by narrative, critique, and empathy—interwoven with a constant experimentation into the capabilities of both analog and digital mediums.
